Your Dream Home, Their Forever Home
At the Dawn McKenna Group, helping people find a home is about creating a space that brings comfort, safety, and joy. For many clients, pets are at the heart of that feeling.
That’s why we’re partnering with Border Tails Rescue, a licensed, no-kill organization dedicated to saving and rehoming stray dogs locally and internationally. Founded in 2019 by Harleigh Garcia, they operate a shelter in Northbrook, Illinois, with dogs available for adoption daily.
Border Tails Rescue works with local and global shelters, addresses overpopulation through education and spay/neuter programs, and takes on complex medical cases. They do not discriminate by breed, age, size, or ability, and operate entirely on donations and adoption fees.
Our goal is simple: help people find their dream home — and help a rescue dog find theirs. Participating agents donate a portion of their commission or cover adoption fees for families who adopt, giving dogs a chance at the loving home they deserve.
This initiative celebrates giving back, the power of adoption, and the bond between people and pets. Just as we make houses feel like homes for our clients, we’re helping rescue dogs find theirs.
