Meet Maddie
Originally from Hinsdale and now living in Lincoln Park, Maddie McMahon brings both a hometown foundation and a city-forward perspective to her work with The Dawn McKenna Group. Maddie attended Indiana University, where she studied journalism and business, and began working with DMG during her sophomore year. She earned her real estate license as a junior and routinely drove home from campus on weekends to manage rentals and sales in Chicago. Known early on for her initiative, Maddie built her own client base by marketing to her peers, hosting on-campus events, and positioning herself as a trusted resource for Chicago real estate.
Maddie has worn many hats throughout her time with DMG. She started as an intern and quickly rose to leading the Chicago rental team while simultaneously selling and serving as Chief of Staff to lead agents, Dawn McKenna and Lauren Walz, supporting their $200M annual book of business in the Western Suburbs. While these experiences provided invaluable insight into every facet of the industry, her true passion has always been sales.
A true champion of the city, Maddie is deeply invested in Chicago’s future and takes pride in sharing her enthusiasm, knowledge, and belief in the market with every client she serves.
